What does the $55 Ambassadeur service include?
The $55 upfront price is per reel for complete standard Abu Garcia Ambassadeur servicing: disassembly, cleaning, inspection, lubrication, reassembly, and function checks. Replacement parts and additional repairs are separate charges. Additional work requires approval.
Do you work on brands other than Abu Garcia?
Yes. Other brands and models are welcome for assessment. Service availability and pricing need to be confirmed for your specific reel; the $55 standard price is for Ambassadeur servicing.
Can I bring more than one reel?
Yes. Multiple reels can belong to one order, with a separate service record for each. Standard pricing applies per reel with no automatic quantity discount. Three qualifying Ambassadeur reels cost $165 upfront, before approved extras.
Can I mail in my reel?
Pickup and drop-off only for now. The address will be published later. Please call or email to arrange a handoff rather than shipping a reel.
How do I arrange pickup or drop-off?
Call 919-280-7846 or email contact@carolinahookandbait.com. Hours are Monday–Friday, 8 AM–6 PM. Confirm the time and meeting details with us before heading out; the address is coming soon.
Will you replace parts without asking?
Additional parts and repairs require an estimate and your approval before that work proceeds. Standard servicing is charged separately from those extras.
How long does servicing take?
Timing depends on the work queue, reel condition, and parts availability. Confirm a turnaround estimate when arranging service.
Can you restore an older reel?
Restoration requests are welcome. Feasibility depends on condition and parts availability. Restoration scope and pricing require assessment and approval; cosmetic restoration is not included in the standard $55 service.
Do I need an account to arrange service?
No. Call or email the workshop to discuss your reel and arrange pickup or drop-off. Online ordering, payments, and tracking are not available on this public website.
