    Complete disassembly

    Down to the working parts. Each reel is opened for a thorough service.

    Ultrasonic & hand cleaning

    Careful cleaning matched to the component, its material, and its condition.

    Component inspection

    Gears, bearings, and wear surfaces inspected. Extra repairs require your approval.

  4. 04

    Precision lubrication & reassembly

    Appropriate lubrication where it belongs. Components carefully reassembled.

  5. 05

    Mechanical function testing

    A final mechanical check of the assembled reel before its return.

Scope comes before extra work. We assess the reel, explain the options, and ask for your approval.

Repairs & replacement parts

Worn components and mechanical faults are assessed individually. Additional parts and repairs are quoted separately. Work proceeds only after your approval.

Restoration

Older reels are welcome for assessment. Scope depends on condition and parts availability. Cosmetic restoration is outside the standard service and requires an agreed estimate.

Two qualifying Ambassadeur reels: $110 upfront. Three: $165 upfront. Multiple reels can share one order, with a separate service record for each. Approved extras are additional.
